WOOOO!  Wedding season is in full force over here and I am THRIVING.  Thriving so much that I let blogging take a back seat (which is seriously something that I need to stop doing!)

Last month, I had the honor of documenting Lisa + Don’s wedding day at the beautiful Casa De Monte Vista in Palm Springs, CA. Built in the 1920’s this historic Spanish estate is the perfect venue if you’re going for something a little more romantic and intimate.

Lisa + Don are a blast to be around and photograph. Their love for each other and for every guest attending their wedding was so apparent. You can just tell how much these two meant to every single wedding guest. That place was filled to the brim to love and support. Such a beautiful thing!

Enjoy these photos and get ready for lush EVERYTHAANG.

For those of you who are super into amazing reception details..GET READY.  Vision Events is one of my FAVORITES to work with when it comes to wedding coordination and design.  Lori kills it every time and is seriously one of the easiest people to work with!

So, I know it’s hard to tell, but it was totally raining during Lisa + Don’s portrait session of the day. But being the absolute awesome people that they are they just called it good luck and we had a blast shooting in the rain for a bit. Believe it or not, all of these portraits (and so much more not shown here) were taken in 10 minutes because I didn’t want them to get too wet. While this is rare, rest assured that I’m equipped with tons of posing know how when it comes to having to shoot in a pinch!

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT Justin

I've always been drawn to all things creative, but didn't pick up a camera until my senior year in high school to document a trip my friends and I were taking to San Francisco.  I had no idea how to correctly work my camera, but instantly fell in love with the concept of capturing moments in an artistic way.  I became obsessed with photographing anything and anyone willing to get in front of my lens.  Still lifes, landscapes, pets, people.  People.  What started out as a passion for photography quickly turned into a passion for people and the love they share.  I can't put words to the feeling of capturing fleeting moments, celebratory tears, warm embraces,  or loving glances.  What I can say is how incredibly fulfilling photographing weddings all over the west coast for the past twelve  years has been.  I'm thrilled to have you here and can't wait to work with you!
