It’s been a while since I’ve made a blog post (my bad). It’s also been a while since I’ve shot an engagement session at Sunset Cliffs in beautiful San Diego, CA. Once I heard that Francesca & John wanted to have their engagement session here, I knew it was going to be a great one! One, because Sunset Cliffs is STUNNING rain or shine and two, because Francesca and John are one of the sweetest/coolest/laid back/(insert more rad adjectives here) couples everrr! They both have a such a cool style and just moved all the way from New York (so they’re obviously like 10,000 times cooler than me already…let’s be real) and are having their wedding this August at the same ranch that John’s Parents got married at 40 years ago! How stinkin’ cool is that?! So stoked to be photographing it!
So this day was particularly overcast which I used to hate, but I’ve learned to embrace the clouds and the tones/mood they naturally bring to photos and absolutely love shooting in overcast weather now. We were also blessed with a pretty low tide and got to explore some of the rocks below. Those are some of my favorite images from this set so be sure to scroll all the way through!
