Hello Friends!
It’s definitely been a while since I’ve said hello from my little corner of the interwebs! Life has been awesome and super busy..which is awesome! I will admit that I’m not the best at blogging, but it’s been my goal to get better at it and share more of my life and business with you!
So, as some of you may know, one of my absolute favorite shoots was featured on Southern California Bride a couple weeks ago! I was so stoked and thankful! I really want to share more from that shoot because I worked really hard on it. It was a passion project with no real direction at first. I 100% believe in working with professional wedding vendors, but this was the only time where I really wanted to try my hand at things that really interested me just to see if I’d be able to do it. My girlfriend and I searched thrift stores, World Market, and Pier 1 to find the perfect pieces. I hand painted a faux black marble finish on an old IKEA desk top and drilled some hairpin legs onto it and watched so many tutorials on how to construct a hand tied bouquet! While everything didn’t turn out perfect, I’m thrilled with the outcome and so thankful for my friends Rochelle Fajardo for amazing makeup, hair and modeling and Lexi Dockery at Lexi Cakes for the sweets!
Enjoy!
Rochelle’s boyfriend, Josh helped us out SO much with moving and setting everything up! So I made sure to grab some images of them together as well 🙂
