Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to document Rachel and Chris’ wedding in Sunny San Diego!

The whole day ran smoothly and the weather was beautiful.  I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with!  The day was filled with love, joy, food and LOTS of dancing!   This wedding was simply charming.  You could definitely feel that love was in the air as these two tied the knot and celebrated their marriage with close friends and family at a quaint, little church.  Here’s what took place before the ceremony.  Enjoy!

Marina Village is absolutely stunning!  Such a wonderful venue for a wedding and RIGHT on the water.  *sighs*

I had to steal the couple away from their guests for a few minutes because I COULDN’T let this beautiful sunset go without getting a few shots in first!

Aaaaaand back to the party!
Rachel’s sisters gave the most beautiful, heartfelt toasts ever and Chris’ dad was seriously one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met!

There were definitely some sweet mother/son and father/daughter dances.

These little cupcakes were not only DELICIOUS, but also unique because they’re SQUARE!  How cool is that?!

Rachel and Chris, thank you SO much for allowing us to document your big day.  It has been an absolute honor working with you two!  You’re wedding was so beautiful and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!

HAPPY THURSDAY!

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT Justin

I've always been drawn to all things creative, but didn't pick up a camera until my senior year in high school to document a trip my friends and I were taking to San Francisco.  I had no idea how to correctly work my camera, but instantly fell in love with the concept of capturing moments in an artistic way.  I became obsessed with photographing anything and anyone willing to get in front of my lens.  Still lifes, landscapes, pets, people.  People.  What started out as a passion for photography quickly turned into a passion for people and the love they share.  I can't put words to the feeling of capturing fleeting moments, celebratory tears, warm embraces,  or loving glances.  What I can say is how incredibly fulfilling photographing weddings all over the west coast for the past twelve  years has been.  I'm thrilled to have you here and can't wait to work with you!
